One of the first of its kind in energy storage.
The project included a solar array with a 500-kilowatt lithium ion Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) that was operated and controlled as one turn-key integrated system.
The project was designed with the capability of charging the BESS system by both the grid and/or solar system while also allowing to evaluate the positive effects its integration has on the existing grid.
