Wind Energy Thriving In Southwest Texas

This 500-megawatt wind energy project is located in Crockett County near Ozona, Texas, and consisted of the installation of 180 wind turbines. White Mesa Wind was completed in September 2021 and began commercial operations in November 2021. The project supplies enough clean energy to power 193,000 American households. Apple, eBay, Samsung and Sprint signed a joint agreement to purchase 75 megawatts of power from this project.
