520 MEGAWATTS
Powering West Texas Into A Sustainable Future.
This 520-megawatt solar project near Andrews, Texas, was completed in March 2021 and consists of more than 3,600 acres of land and 33 miles of roads. Blattner’s scope of work included engineering, design and testing and commissioning of the entire site, including battery storage (which is producing an additional 40 megawatts). This project’s 1,305,304 million solar panels will generate enough clean energy to power more than 80,000 American homes. This energy center will benefit schools, provide jobs and generate tax revenue for the Andrews County community.
